RESEARCH PROMOTION
ASHRAE Research
Our mission is simple, to improve the quality of life and to answer tomorrow’s questions through research today!
Founded in 1894, the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) is an international nonprofit technical engineering society. We fulfill our mission of advancing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration to serve humanity and promote a sustainable world through research, standards writing, publishing and continuing education.
Our Research Program was established in 1912 and we support a great amount of research projects. All projects are key in the development of technical information to create standards and guidelines, which serve as the basis for testing and design practices around the world. Our research sets us apart from other professional societies and associations of its kind.
Some of our donor-supported projects over the years include:
Some of our current 2022 projects include:
All our of our Research Projects are overseen by Technical Committees, all members just like us! If you are interested in getting involved in TC, please visits Ashrae.org/research.
Our ASHRAE Research helps the environment, creates better living and working conditions, and prevents the spread of bacteria and diseases.
Every one dollar donated to research is one dollar to research – We, the Anthracite Chapter of ASHRAE, invite you to become involved in our chapter activities. We realize your contribution may only be donating to research projects; but your donation earns recognition throughout the year on our website and during our Chapter Meetings. We can never say Thank You enough!
You can support via online, phone, or at our Chapter Meetings!
